Event Marketing Specialist
Location: United States (Remote)
Position Summary
We’re looking for an extremely organized and creative Event Marketing Specialist to support the planning, execution, and promotion of trade shows, regional events, and brand activations. This role blends hands-on event logistics with marketing support, helping bring products to life while driving memorable engagement and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
Coordinate all aspects of trade shows and events, including but not limited to logistics, shipping, booth setup, and vendor management
Manage timelines, budgets, and on-site execution to ensure seamless event delivery
Look for an apply cost-saving strategies across freight, drayage, labor, and materials
Travel to support on-site event execution as needed, up to 35% travel per year, majority through summer months.
Support lead collection efforts during events and ensure proper tracking
Assist with post-event follow-up campaigns in collaboration with sales and marketing
Help organize and maintain leads to support pipeline development
Marketing & Campaign Support
Assist in developing pre-event promotions (email, social media, and digital campaigns)
Support creation of event-related content and marketing materials
Help ensure brand consistency across all event touchpoints
Track performance, share insights, and guide optimization
Build, QA, schedule, and deploy campaigns across multiple platforms
Partner closely with the Marketing Associate to optimize content based on performance
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align event efforts with business goals
Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and venues
Facilitate stakeholder review cycles to refine messaging and visuals
Perform Market Research
Ideal Candidate
Resourceful, proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail
2–5 years of experience in event coordination, trade shows, or marketing support
Proficiency in content creation tools such as CapCut, VN, and Canva
Strong creative eye for photography and video, with the ability to capture and edit engaging content on-site at events
Experience creating short-form content for social media and event promotion (before, during, and after events)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar)
Basic understanding of CRM systems and lead management processes
Experience supporting or executing social media campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines
Knowledge of event logistics, including shipping, drayage, labor, and vendor coordination
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Able to manage multiple events happening within days or weeks of each other
Working Conditions
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.
Regularly required to work at a desk with a computer and correspond on the phone and using other communication platforms.
